Haynes. I would trim and put the mounting holes in before painting. Makes it easier than trying to find the mounts after U paint.

To each their own on the trim before or after paint. I tend to mark where the holes need to be, paint then trim. But if you check the paint thread , the real good guys, do it both ways.

I trim then paint. No chance of screwing up the paint with scissors or an xacto.
Like Bob, said, it's easier to make sure the body fits and mounts up right prior to painting.

My son and I had a good time on Sunday...hope to make it out there again some time this year. Now if I could only get the kid to settle down a little. Car worked pretty well and was good to shake that rust off from not being able to race this winter. Thanks

My friends and I have a great time. Track is HUGE!!! All the tracks I usually race at have lap time is the low to mid 20 second range but this place was insane. I love the track layout and I love the jump sections. The only complaint I have is the jump faces. I know it doesn't affect the 1/8 as much as it does 1/10 and I know I'm not the only one who had issues. I talked to Robin about this issue while at the race and she said they would address it in the next week. I'm really glad to see a track that listens to it's racers. All the tracks I've been to in Pa. have been nothing short of fabulous. You guys really know how to put on a good show. We will def. be back later in the summer!

I started a new body today, and I am going to try it trim then paint way. So far yes, it was much less nerve racking to trim first.
