The local forecast was calling for rain Fri, Sat and early Sunday... but no rain today, actually it was pretty warm. Track is dry now. The forecast is calling for light showers tomorrow, but if we get a light shower we should or 2 we should still be good to go. I will keep you updated

Guys it was beautiful today, but it is starting to drizzle. I will update on weather and track conditions at 6am and 8 am for those of you who are planning a trip. Keep your fingers crossed... I am. We could use a mild shower to saturate the track a little. Check back for more info. Thanks G

You should get two hits of rain this evening but they don't look too bad.

Default 6 am update

The track has some puddles, that may be worked out... According to the local forecast, if we are to get anymore rain it would be between now and noon. Its a gamble. Its a little windy now which is good to dry the spots. I will keep you all posted

Default 2nd update

The sky is cloudy... I used the leaf blower to eliminate the puddles. By noon, if we don't get anymore rain and the wind continues to blow the track should be good enough to run on, but not optimal. The clay is very saturated around the puddles (low spots). Clay is sticking to my shoes. As of now its a judgement call... to be honest I would not want to travel an hour or more to race these conditions. We have raced with it in worse conditions. I will update again between 830 and 9 am.

Default 9am update

The clouds are clearing, and the sun is starting to shine. Clay pancakes on the track where I walked to use the leaf blower on the puddles. Temperature is about 55. Nobody is here yet. Maybe we'll race... its up to racers. If not lets try again sometime soon. G

THERE ARE ABOUT 16 RACERS HERE AT THIS TIME, AND MORE ON THE WAY.
SO, HOPEFULLY THIS WILL DRY UP IN TIME TO RACE. ( ABOUT 1PM OR SO)

Pretty good day of racing today, especially considering the less than ideal track conditions, it's amazing we were able to race at all. Seemed like everyone had a good time, hopefully we'll see all of you who made it down again soon.

Had a blast racing with everyone again. Was good to see The B-N-J gang out there gettin it done with their mod buggies. Local hotshot Ben was tearin the trackup with his new 1/8 Buggy. And Larry if it has wheels I'll break it Twenty did not disappoint. Looked like all had fun. I will deffinately be back on June 14th. Hopefully a few times before.
Those I forgot to mention I am sorry. I'm terrible with names.

Now who else does hourly updates about the weather? Thanks guys for having a nice track for us to run on yesterday. Adam and I had a good time driving and breaking stuff :-)

The track has potential. With a tweak or two for the jumps, it could be a host to a ROAR Region 2 event.

I see here that Chris is listed as R2 directory now? Was there a silent replacement of Kevin B.?

Default Thanks for the support

Thanks for coming out. We plan to race every Sunday (weather permitting) and some Saturdays. Any suggestion? Ideas? I would like to see more people on a regular basis. I am glad to hear that everyone had a good time. I tried to keep the the ball rolling once we got started. Although we got started an hour late due to the track over saturation. Weather permitting we normally start on time. I am going to contact my sponspors for the race update of prizes for our June 14, 2009 G's OFFROAD BASH 09... Sponsored Race
