I really wish I had sundays off to go race. I do work early in the morning (2am), but don't get out early enough to make it for sign ups. Only thing I can do is come and watch.

Hey Jaime. Sucks I'm not able to really get out there, but one day I will. When I move I'll be even farther from prospeed. I'll surely have to map that out and definately visit. My friend is mainly going to do offroad now so he won't be racing there.

Hey Everybody,
I would like to start by saying, THANK YOU! to the Parroco Brother for Sponsoring The Pro-Speed Shoot Out
Some rules have been set up to try and have the race go smoothly with out delays
We will provide a table for cars to be placed on AFTER each qualifier to enforce mandatory marshalling.
No Radio impound, UNLESS it gets out of hand.
Each car must be put down by a pit guy (even for qualifiers)
3 qualifiers of 5 mins with reshuffle after every round
A mains will be 30 mins; B main is 20 mins; C will depend on turn out. Length of mains will be adjusted accordingly with regards to weather
10 mins between heats (adjusted accordingly to tech difficulties) and 1 min grace
There will be a flag man to start each car for each qualifier(that's Jesse)
Main will be started by placing the car on the tarmac before the horn and go once it blows (just like most race tracks around the world )
Refueling must be done OFF the track otherwise it will result in a "stop and go" next time around.
Once registration is closed .. it's closed! Unless preregistration is done via a phone call to you. No substitution of drivers if a preregistered driver does not show.
Strictly controlled practice for each class entered.
For the "nitro vs electric shootout"
The race will be BEFORE the mains since it's only 5 mins.
It's only for 1/12 - 1/10 touring. No 1/8 on road allowed.
Anything goes and electrics CAN run foams if they wish.
Even Big block conversions (up to .21) will be allowed.
Brushless is allowed. Lipo packs allowed.
No body limitations - Lola/GTP bodies will be allowed.
Unlimited turns with adjustable timing is allowed as well.

Trophies will be given to the top 3 Drivers in the A-mains, top 3 Drivers in the B-mains and 1st 2nd& 3rd place ribons for all other heats. The Classes will be Nitro touring car, Electric touring car 19t fix end-bell and rubber tires, 1/8th scale nitro on-road and the new inferno GT Class. We are also having a one 5 min all out NITRO vs ELCTRIC RACE on-road ,Which there will be only 1 trophy given , the best man takes it!! Registration will open at 9:00am and also Practice will start at 9:00am to 9:30am for touring cars, 9:30am to 10:00am for 1/8th and 10:00am to 10:30 for electric at which time the track will close for final set up Then at 10:45 Drivers Meeting and then Racing will start at 11:00am and Reshuffling will be done after every round. This is how things should go if all goes well with out any unforeseen interruptions in setting up.
See Ya There,
Jaime

OK, Just to let everybody know, I just got the new timing system and we will Start using it at the Pro-Speed Shoot out. What this means is that everyone is going to have to start getting personal transponders because this is all we will be using I will have personal transponders available for $75.00 each. I will also have (for a short period of time) personal transponders to rent for those of you who don't have one of your own yet. I did not purchase any rechargeable transponders because of the cost so this is why we all must eventually get personal transponders
See Ya Sunday,
J.C.
