Looks like this is a rumor, as I suspected when I heard about it. There is no logical reason to keep it a secret. If true, you would want everyone to know about it. Why risk another competitor having the opportunity to beat you to the punch and open another track in the area before you open your doors. With this type of business logic, no wonder so many tracks have short lives.
I would love it if this was going to happen. But looks like I will have to go ahead and sell everything, closest electric track is 50 miles away.

Here is the lowdown.
There is no secret, there is little to share when there isn't even a location to talk about.
I will not fill you in the details as they aren't needed. The initial location fell thru at the last minute.
Subsequent possible building locations were zoned for industrial.
As weird as it sounds the amount of well placed locations around Ontario and optimal building size is pretty slim.
I will not put my hobby shop/tracks in some inaccessible hole in the wall 20 miles from the freeway.
I'm personally out daily looking for locations and I have access to a couple online realtor databases and check those daily.
