the track is really coming together! I like the new layout, I just watched the new video that rockstar posted in another thread, if I can add something, just a thought, but at my local track there is orange paint to designate where the marshel stands. might help the newer folks out when they marshel and don't know where to be, just a thought!

ps rockstar, maybe you could post that video in here aswell? just so all the tracks vidoes can be in a single thread? I would but the site says Im to new!

When is this track open for practice and when are races held? Have a few 1/8 scale guys from Midland that would come down often.

Track is open Saturdays and Sundays. We've been prepping the track Saturday evenings.
And racing Sundays at around 2.
We've been thinking about switching to Saturday racing. which should make it easier on the out of towners.
were takin a brake this Easter Sunday.

Some of us have been thinking about going over to midland and running as well.
When do ya'll usually race.
Ya'll are using the trackmate transponders also, Right?

We don't have a track in Midland. Raceline RC in Odessa uses trackmate. They haven't raced in over a month though. There is also a track in Gardendale that races often. They use trackmate as well. What transponders do y'all run?
Moving to Saturday would definitely be better for us. Sunday afternoon races out of town are tough.

I received the shipment of Trackmate transponders. They are $35 each. They can be purchased at the track on practice/race days from TJ or Steve.

My son and I both have Traxxas Rustler XL-5s coming via ups and was wondering when there Is free time to just run on the track to start learning? Also is there an RC car group here in town that we can get involved with?

As of right now the track is open Saturday and Sunday's so feel free to come on out and get the trucks dirty! There is a group that is working very hard to get things going and will help you in any way they can. We have a mix of vehicles and skill levels so you will definitely find answers to questions you may have so come on out!!
