1/8 GT rules and flyer for RCPRO Nationals
Roger, BIG Thank you for the 1/8 GT rules.
1/8th IGT Rules:
These rules pertain to the 1/8 off-road based vehicles that feature on-road passenger and road racing body shells.
•IGT cars must be based on current production buggy/truck chassis, drivetrain and suspension components.
•Shaft drive only.
•Non-adjustable centrifugal clutches only – no Centax or adjustable clutches.
•Rubber tires only, no foam tires. Tires cannot extend beyond the body and fender flares may not be added to accommodate larger tires.
•No dish wheels – a minimum of 50-percent of the wheel face must be open.
•17mm hex hubs only – no quick-change hubs.
•Any commercially available “GT/GTP” racecar style/type body. The engine’s cooling head fins can not be exposed from top or sides of body. Rear wing and/or spoiler/flap must be attached to the actual body. (No chassis mounted or “Buggy/Truggy” type wing mounts).
•Maximum of two mechanical disc brakes, which must be mounted to the center. driveshafts/outdrives. No pressurized or electronic braking systems are permitted.
•Maximum of two-speeds – centrifugal, automatic transmissions only.
•Any nitro engine is allowed up to and including .28 engines.
•150cc fuel tank limit.
