I wouldn't mind that. I think it would be beneficial to allow a few certain drivers (Eryk comes to mind) a chance to get out there and practice on the layout that will be used during the race. Eryk probably wont win or place in the top three so allowing him to get practice and put a groove down is beneficial to everyone and will allow him to have more fun during the race.
