Next Tuesday (6-8-10) night we are trying to get together enough folks to have a good night of racing. As of right now it looks like we have 8+ accounted for. Its a good night of casual racing for anyone that would like to come out. Post up if you are interested.

Thanks

Brandon

For those who haven't heard, Indy RC is now under new ownership. As of today, Joe and Jason from T&T in Plano are the new owners. I'm excited to see what they can do with the place. Good luck guys!

I wonder if purchasing this place was a good investment with Mike's putting in the new 1/8th scale track? Indy has always been kinda dingy and dirty. I would love to see the new owners clean it up a bit

I have only seen it in youtube videos but mikes new outdoor track is awesome compaired to any layout we have ran at indy.I think T & T Speedway in shreveport as soon as they finish their dirt oval and offroad outdoor tracks paired with their inside rock crawling,1/6 on road ,1/8 on road and off road tracks will have it going on.If you have not been to this place check it out. These people go out of their way to keep you coming back.

I was in attendance at Indy this past weekend for the state series race.
In the short time Tex and the boys have taken over Indy, the clean up process has been nothing less than phenomenal. After talking with Tex this past weekend about the list of improvements and changes, Indy will be another super nice place to run once the renovations are complete. I am very glad to see them step up, clean up and save another North Texas race track. Between Mikes in Carrollton (my personal home track) and Indy in Garland the DFW area will have two high class facilities to race at. One for summer and one for winter.

This is a video from practice on the new layout on 9/28/10 (which was a tuesday night) for the 4th round of the RC Pro State Series. Ron and Tex really have some big plans for this place and the short time that they have had it there is already a big diffrence in looks in the hobby shop! They are suppose to completely gut out the hobby shop over the winter and do a total make over. I have also been told that there are some big approvements going to take place in the pit area and track area and actually have a warm up area outside.

Also heard a little talk about maybe a offroad series could take place between Indy, Mike's, and Granburry Hobbies but not sure how much of there is truth to it but would be very cool!!! I like racing at all these tracks!!

This is great news! I'm really glad that Indy is finally cleaning out the filthy gutters. I'll spread the word to my buddies who have lost faith in the place that it's coming back to life.

In case most of the racers in Texas don't know, there is a new pro moving in. Reno Savoya. If you don't know him, look him up. Man is a machine. I'm looking forward to trading paint with the RB master.

There is a great story about him on neobuggy.net about his move to Dallas and racing the Worlds next month! Can not wait to see him in action at Indy or at Mike's.... Very cool!!

Yep, Reno for sure top 10 in the world IMO. Will there be a Lone Star race at Indy this winter?
