AMS 6.0! SIGN UP NOW!
Alright tn-ky racers, AMS is just around the corner, may 28-31. Thursday the 28th is practice/seeding rounds if you can make it. If not, Friday heats start and you can move up thru resorts. Awesome race and well worth the drive and entry fee. They give away radios, RTR kits, engines, probably over 100 swag bags. Last year, 2 of our guys won an RB nitro engine and a losi 22 sct. Talked with the Cassidy's and they ARE cutting off sign ups at 500! There were 650 last year and people got left out. This year, a lot more people will get left out, SIGN UP NOW! Its nitro, ebuggy, e truggy, and 4wd sct only.

We would love to go again this year but with it only a few weeks from Nats. we just can't make it.

371 signed up so far. Less than 130 slots left!

Counted 412 entries as of this morning. Only 88 slots left. Dont hear about how awesome this was from a buddy, go see for yourself.

might not be updated yet. not sure if its automatic or if the host track/person has to manually do it.

Counted approx. 430 entries so around 70 slots left. Unlike PNB's 1000 entry capability, AMS will cut-off entries. Get signed up!, even if you only think you can make it. The atmosphere, racing, liverc broadcast, give-aways, and Monster Energy girls make it worth the trip. No, I am not associated with this event, but saw people not allowed to race last year due to excessive entries. Hopefully there is no flood this year or power loss.

i think you might have went to a different event. Since you talked about the good I'll cover the bad.
yeap, just too many entries and not organized on getting info out quickly.. heats done after midnight then waiting up hrs after that for heats and mains to be posted is not good. can't sleep, you might miss your heat/main and some did just that. when the mains roll out you are a zombie. 3-4 yrs of it for me and i'm disappointed in how it flows,,,,dont flow so no rest.
AMS 3 was great, lot of prizes for all. if i remember right, 4.0 was when they started giving the 15K in prizes mostly to the top a main winners. IMO, those guys don't need it, top guys could care less. most have better equipment. the few drawings for good prizes doesn't spread far among 600 racers.. i'm sure advertising that you are giving out 15k in prizes is good marketing, but holding back most of it for a main winners was not how you keep people coming back.
the track gets brutal after day 2. breaks alot of parts. DNF is a factor. It can be fun, but you better bring your entire parts stash and spare cars.
hope they get it together better this year on organizing/timely post and build a track more car friendly. cant have fun if you are fixing stuff every round or don't finish.
im done whining about it. Maybe i will see you there if I can forget how much it cost me last year

I didn't run nitro last year so I can't speak for how those mains turned out or how long the heats took. Had serval friends run the open nitro classes and they seemed OK. There was a long delay with the power outage and pit flooding last year. I also don't know if $$ was given to the top a main drivers, but I counted over 100+ raffle numbers posted with some decent prizes won. Hopefully the Cassidy's eliminate those problems you saw last year this year.

Counted 490 sign-ups. I know some who signed up wont make it, but why take that waiting list chance? Get those last 10 spots.

Alright, less than 3 wks till this one. Even though rcsignup says 650, they are taking the FIRST 500 paid entries, no matter what. Don't wait to pay. Sign up does not guaranty you a spot, you must pay before the cut-off is reached. See everyone there.
