Thinking about a road trip for me and my son from South Tenn/ North Ala. We currently run 17.5 classs and he also runs 4wd sct. Couple of questions: any 17.5 motor and esc (blinky) (we run hobbywing justock esc it stays in blinky). Will there plenty of room to pit indoors? and motel options close? Thanks,

Yeah any esc/motor in blink mode for 17.5 spec class.

I'm not sure about rooms...but my friends stayed at the baymont lasthe time they came to visit. It was pretty cheap and right off time he freeway at exit 11. Baymont Inn & Suites Clarksville. There is also more hotels in downtown clarksville. the downtown hotels may be closer to the track.

There is room indoors to pit. I would suggest getting there as soon as possible on Saturday to get you pit area.

Explain the Sportsman class (SCT) please. On the Rcsignup, it says sportsman/ youth class. Is this an 2wd short truck class only? Thanks, looking forward to racing indoors.

5 days till race. Don't let the lack of rcsignup discourage you. A lot of locals are just that, locals who don't use rcsignup for a variety of reasons. There will be plenty of racers in all classes. Pit space is 1st come, 1st served. We have 30 pit tables, enough for 60 drivers if you double up the 8' tables. Extra space in heated adjacent room and outside covered area if you're brave enough to withstand the elements. Can/toy check in will be outside where you'll be given a sticky with how much off your entry fee. Don't wanna lug those cans twice. No cans it's $30,$20,$10. 2 cans get $1 off one class up to 1/2 off that class so 30 cans means you race the first class for $15, another 20 cans means the 2nd class is only $10. Each toy is worth 1/2 a class. Got 23 sponsors so the swag will be awesome. You can setup your pit area Friday from 4-8 and leave it. We will stay later to get track primed and we will open Saturday around 5:30am unofficially.
