Hi all- test and tune tonight at Sir Goony's Raceway in Farragut.
Start time 6:30pm 7/9/14
Wed Program kicks off on 7/16/14
Classes:
VTA (US VTA Rules -tech)
MO5 (local rules)
Legends
17.5 spec
Open (Run What you Brung)
3 of any type make a class

Any interested On-Road guys please chime in.
Is Thursday better for racing over Wed?
Classes:
VTA, MO5 Mini, 17.5, Legends, and Open Class. Novice would be good too.

We are all about promoting the hobby and just want to give folks a place to run.

Completely understand. I live 7min from the track and have the lap counting system with me. If you have some friends up there that want to come down and race, I'd be happy to support you guys. Give me a weeks notice, and I can make that happen pretty easily on a Sunday afternoon.

I have 4 guys that would ride down with me if you would do that. this weekend i'll talk to them and see if we can work something out.
EDIT: We all run 8.5 and 10.5T TC so I guess we would just race in the RwUB class.
During the winter you guys will have to come and race with us!

Our track is tight but flows well- perfect for VTA and mini, but 17.5 looks really good too. You speed demons will have to judge for yourselves.
I've run nitro on it and didn't mind it too much, but bring whatever you want. If you have at least 3 with you we can run an open TC class. You guys figure out what motor you want.

I've been getting some very good interest from guys wanting to put cars together. Biggest interest I've seen has been on MO5 and VTA.

As far as MO5 Goes:
not to exceed 3600NiMH batteries
Kit ESC, Kit Silver Can Motor
Tamiya Mini Tires only
Only upgrades allowed are ball bearings and non-performance enhancing. I.e. steering rack, hub carriers etc. NO BALL DIFFS.

It was moved to Thursdays and the next race is August 7. We are running every other week.
