I guess I'm a little confused. There's 1 heat Friday, and 2 on Saturday? Or 3 Saturday? I've heard conflicting reports.

Also, will the track be available for practice late Friday night (I won't be there in time for the heat)?

Speaking from the club standpoint, we plan on having a heat Friday evening to aide in getting most people checked in. The start time of this heat may vary but will most likely begin between 6 and 7 in an effort to catch those who wish to come out Friday night.

On Saturday, we will be looking for a full three heats but if the number of entries is too large then we will address the idea of cutting back to 2 heats.
Hope this clarifies!

Hey Nate, get signed in on rcsignup and we will get you in the system. Fridays round is practice only. Helps us get as many in the system as possible and to make sure everything is working properly. It also helps those who makes it out Friday to get some good practice in with turn marshals plus the track will be in the same condition as the mains will be Saturday.

We will be running qualpoints!

Hey guys, AJ is going to post here in a bit but I wanted to get it out there and see how it will affect everyone's plans. Weather is looking like rain Friday and chance Saturday. We are looking at this Sunday for the race as the rainout day and as the weather looks now we would be able to run for sure Sunday as the tracks drains well. I know a Sunday race may prevent some from making it and will also allow others to attend. Again, we will race Saturday if at all possible and call it Friday morning if changing to Sunday.

We will be making the call on friday early if it is obvious that saturday will be a rainout. The same time schedule applies for sunday as it would on saturday. We will post on this thread and the Boneyard thread either way friday. I will be at the track friday morning with a few things to do anyway so I will be making sure the track dries for a saturday or sunday race. I hope this will actually open the opportunity for those who have commitments on saturday to be able to make a sunday race. See you there!

So you are doing practice and one qualifier Friday at around 6:00 and the rest of the qualifiers Saturday, plus the mains on Saturday... But if it rains out Saturday, we race on Sunday.
