Leaving Friday at 6am
Hey guys,
I am leaving friday at about 6am and I have room for 2 people in my truck if there is someone that would like to go race this weekend and needs a ride. If you want to go send me a pm or call me at 591-7788. Just so you know I will stay for the Pro A-Main so it will be late sunday when we get back.

Thanks, It took me most of the weekend to figure the track out and get my buggy setup correct for it. I qualified 8th and got in some trouble in the beginning of the race so I was close to a half of a lap behind the leader. I finally cought the 1st place car with about 1 minute to go and then choked and put my buggy in the pipe so never got to battle him for the win.

Friggin Fantastic for my first Big Show. I did horrible though. Stupid mistakes like not charging my receiver pack for the first qual. Bad tire choices and I don't understand setup that well. Next time I will though. I had some carb problems Sat and should have tore it down to give it a look see. I started flaming in the main towards the end. I tore it down last night and my idle screw was broken in two, not sure how that happens, but it did.
I learned that big events really aren't into watering the track throughout the day and I was unable to adjust to the conditions. There was a decent blue groove laid down but it was like a 1.5 to 2 ft lane and if you got out of it you were all over the place. I also learned that there are some super fast guys that run Inter/Sportsman...
Biggest thing that kicked my rear were nerves. I do it at Karns too. Once I feel like I need to push I end up screwing everything up.
I would like to thank Keith for hauling me around and talking me down from taking 4 gallons of fuel down there. Hehehehe, I only used half a gallon. I would also like to thank Brittani at Applebee's for absolutely twisting my mind. Wow, she will be etched in my permanent memory forever....(long story).
I will be back.

There is a really great video of the last Pro 1/8 buggy qual on Ryan Lutz's web site if any one wants to see it. Really shows off the track.
