When is the tristate race? And could we get at least 1 practice in before the race? Please? And is the race rubber tire or foam?

that's double pink robby :P

Actually quite a few guys in bama have been running that. Just gives you a little more grip being a little softer than a purple. Shouldn't be a big deal.

Although... Bivens might be sugar watering the track so then again you might traction roll LOL

tempest, what tires do you recommend?

robbie, if i don't have any foams that hook up i'll run rubber tires. i'm not buying foams for 1 day of racing

I've been running either purple and purple or purple and plaid mostly...

If the track is low bite then double pinks and double pink oranges might work better.

Honestly either should work fine with 19T motors outdoors.

I hope to see a bunch of local knoxville guys at the race. I miss running with you guys during the summer.

Later

Default TIRES

Purple, plaid, Dbl pink, Dbl pink orange should be fine. Several people have said they are running rubber tires and not foam. From what I have seen from Vader running foams here it is not a real big advantage. I do have a ton of foams left and will be selling them for $14.00 per set. So you can get a full set for $28.00 if you like.

1/12 scale foams on sale as are a bunch of other parts to rotate stock.

Would anyone like to run stock? We have the option of having one local class at the race. Could be rubber tire stock for those who do not care to run for tri-state points.

Track will be open Friday July 30th for practice from 10:00 until everyone leaves.

are you inferring the portapit will be the last ones there?

has anybody looked at where I qualified for round 3 you'll have to look at the fastest laptime for touring http://www.nashrcracer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=154

and an acceptable 5th place in the alabama state champs with some equally fast lap times.

just wish I could of kept it together for the main. more maintaince.
