Xray T1R
Guys, I have been mulling over which touring car to purchase, and still haven't come up with a definate. I thought I wanted a TC3, now I think it should be a T1 raycer. I wanted to see what you guys have to say about either kit.
BTW I will be racing at Fernando's if I manage to get something.
Thanks
David

TC3
the TC3 is hard to beat, everyone has set-up info on it, spare parts are easy to get, it's a proven winner. some guys are having success with the x-rays but i recommend the TC3 simply for parts availibility and the fact that many other drivers could help with set-up info.

Got to get my euro in here.
I like the XRay T1r a lot. I tried Losi and Associated and never could do well with them. I tried the XRay and loved it. The kit goes together better then any car I have ever assembled before, the fit is unreal. The kit includes everything you need to be competive and has a great tuning guide. Parts breakage has been minimal, a lot less then other cars. I love this car, can you tell
The down side is parts, most places don't carry them and of course it is metric. Now with that said, XRay is now being distributed by Horizon, so perhaps the parts problem will be solved.
If you ever are up in Knoxville, I'll be more than happy to let you try mine. It seems like there is someone in ATL that does have one and he's posted before on the Xray thread in the electric section.
Hope this helps.
