I spoke with Freddy and he said to start by turning down the dual rate as much as possible and make the rear of the car rotate. He also said for that size track, biggest spur you can fit.

Bob is correct.
You want the rear to be free going in and through the middle but coming out you need to transfer more weight to the rear. If dual rate is not enough then you can also turn down your EPA's Some times on odd track a stiffer rear spring will allow rotation but put more pressure on the rear tires for the "bite" off the corner.

usually I would start with a 110 and go from there on the spur. A Larger spur will help off the corner and a smaller spur will carry more speed. Pay more attention to the size relation between pinion and spur after you get a good ratio.

That was going to be my next question, so yes, i will defiantly bump up my spur gear. Also I know almost everyone runs 64p gears, what is the advantage of 64p over 48p? Just curious, some of the guys at the track are switching to 48p, think maybe they are onto something or no??

thanks guys

welll after the Vegas discrace I decided to get a little more serious..LOL
went and ran the packs again in 1/12 scale last weekend and they ran awesome...managed to put a few laps on the track record and fast lap by .4 and they stayed strong the whole time...cant wait till the classic, we should be a little more prepared..the packs seem to get better the more I run them..
thanks
