Had a fairly decent weekend, just missed out on the stock A final at the STCC round at eastbourne. Lost about 7s in the last qualifier due to an errant back marker... and ended up 2s away from the A
Still, managed to hold it all together and take the B-final win, with a 2,1,2 in the finals. Set a time in the second final which was only 4seconds away from the TQ man...
Motor setup was; X-Stock, F-lines, with Red-Red springs. Geared at 128/33 = 7.10fdr. Batteried were IB4200 WC, charged at 6.5a, with 15mv cutoff.
Spent the whole of Saturday tuning the Type-R, got a pretty decent setup on it now, but still feel theres a little too much understeer towards the end of a run, but feel this may be because the tyres are odd (Corally SSB control tyre). Do feel I have a better handle on how to gear the X's now... seems like they like a bit more gear than a ROAR.
Club meeting this weekend, going to use the MRE this time, as I have a one-way for it
