Hey guys if you haven't seen Swifty's vinyl work, it's awesome! Anyone coming to the PORC should definitely PM him and get some cool stuff. Make your car look like the pro's!!! Get your Name for the windows, Full Throttle for the sides, and what ever brand names you want on there.

for Ex: I have my name, Schumacher, Full Throttle, BMI, Pdub.

I have come to the conclussion that I suck at taking pictures.... But here are the ones I just finished for RD. The blue chrome and chrome back colors are hard to see in the pics, but really pop when seen in person.

I agree about the colors jumping out at you in person. I tried to post a pic of my car on here with vinyl on it but it was too big and I have no way of changing it right now.

So is everyone ready for Sat?

I will have a few bottles of DIP at the track if anyone wants to try it come see me.

Also any guys who have stop watches please bring them along. You can't always depend on hearing the practice program (if its even used). I know I never seem to have one and this race is no different.

I did buy a scale but it only measures in Oz. I will have that setup as well as a tweak board and possibly scales (gotta borrow them) for balancing your car

Other things you might want to grab: Citronella candles, towels, sunblock, fan, pit light, MP3 player

Man I feel like it's the old days. Offroad racing was at night and I had to bring all the same stuff.

oh yeah anyone have a HPI Pro 4 center drag link for the steering setup?

Nice LOL

My Schuie order will be here tomorrow. Batteries get re assmbled tonight. Charging up 1 practice pack on Thursday and strapping it in the car (hint hint) yeah man....I'm getting fired up!!!!!!

I just read some tips for big races...I liked a few

Determine how many practice packs you will be running and then schedule them for specific times through out the day so that you have a schedule to follow. I like that one.

Practice with a partner, 1 person on the track, 1 person with the stopwatch timing the car and observing the way the car is handling.

Keep your practice sessions smooth, no rocket laps. look for average lap times.

Check the Temp of the motor after 5 minutes of running. adjust gearing if necessary
