What esc are you using? Can you turn off the temperature cut off?

Very strange. Unless you mixed up the ABC wires, there really isn't a issue why it doesn't run with that speed control. Do you have a friend that can try the motor on their speed control, or do you have a different speed control that you could try? I'm stumped.

Thanks, I had the temp sensor go out in a motor & the esc thought the motor was overheating so it would not run unless I turned the temp cut off off.

I am guessing that is what happened, but the motor did run after doing that. .

Unfo cant completely disable the heat protection in the 410 but I have it maxed out at 230deg

I understand, but I think it would still have to be off. Have you tried another sensor wire? Or do you have another esc you can that the temp can be disabled. Probably not the sensor wire, since the other motors ran. I would still try a different one.

Looking for suggestions for r1 wurks mtr for new tlr 22 4.0 buggy. Has anyone tried the new v16 in an off road buggy yet? Been told v16 has less brakes than v15 but do not know what that means in regards to my application. Typically, I do not run all that much brake.....just enough to get nose down on jumps etc. I do run 10-15% drag brake if that plays into making a decision between v 15 or v 16.

Either one would work well in offroad. V15 does have slightly better braking as noted, but probably not an issue for your application.

What's the difference between v15 and v16? Which would be better for off-road and has more bottom end? Thx motor looks great

V16 has shorter coils like the MC2 and team scream and use stronger rotors. I think both design can be good at bottom end depending on how strong the rotor is chosen.
