I think this applies to the SSS motors.......stator core is completely redesigned, new materials, lower resistance, US made wires, next level epoxy thermodynamics.

It doesn't rule out design changes like those made to the V16. You just need to meet a minimum A to B coil resistance. The V16 25.5 motor is by far the best motor i've run in the 25.5 category. I've compared against 2 of the best motor's on the market (to date), TSR and Motiv MC2.

The ROAR approval process is almost complete. When it's officially signed-off by ROAR it will be posted on R1 Wurks website.

I believe the drive feel has changed a little, feels softer but has better rip. Also feels like more brakes, about 5-7% more brakes and no fade towards the end of the run. The dead finger has decreased about 5%, so about 85% before it hits. The top kick isn't as violent as the previous version. All in all, its feels pretty good.

Still pending ROAR approval of course.

Default Weird 13.5 issue

Guys ,I m having a weird issue with my 13.5 r1 wurks. It's the first gen motor and I m using a reedy 410 esc. The motor doesn't work when I connect it to the esc.

Tried a couple of other motors with same esc and wires and everything worked just fine. So esc and sensor wire are ruled out.

Motor doesn't seem to be bad either as I tested it on the motor checker and it works!

As soon as I hook it up it's just doesn't respond . Am I missing something ?

When you have it on the motor checker and just spin it by hand slowly, do you see it progress thru the 3 sensor leds?

When its hooked up to the speed control, will it run if you try to spin the wheel up by hand?
