We at Hetford had a meeting last night to discuss what motors etc, to put foward for our Rug Racers series and it was agreed that we will also run to the same motor rules as Carpet Wars, the only difference being that if anyone wants to use the Novak SS4300 motor which is supposed to be the same as a 19 turn brushed will be put in with the modifeid section

Rules

Modified: - No motor limit. all brushless included

Stock: - 27T Rebuild-able Stock Motors (as per BRCA list) with the addtion of two motors approved but the Carpet Wars championship

Super stock:- 19T Rebuild-able Stock Motors (as per BRCA list)

A list will be provied at the start of each meeting

Additions

CO27
Epic 27 in green on the armature tag.
Blue.
Can has two flats with 3 slots per flat.
Two Magnets.
No ball racers

X Stock
Epic 27 in red on the armature tag.
Dark brown/black.
Can has two flats with 3 slots per flat.
Two Magnets.
No ball racers

We will also be running 6, rounds to give the racer just that little more fun We will run 4 rounds and 2 finals points from both

Hi
Long time no hear dude, not to sure about the fans that EA had can you get me some info so that I can help you out. I can you some of our high quality fans they are 25X25X6mm fans they are 5volts but most of us run them straight from the battery side of the ESC which wil pump 7.2 volts through them. The speed is 11,000 rpm at 5 volts and push 2.2cfm plenty of airfolw to keep your motors from going soft. They are NOT the ball bearing internal makeup variety like most of the heat sink variety use, as they WILL slow down, or even stall over the kan depending on the strength of the magnets within the motor.

Hi
Personally I have both fans blowing onto both kan and brush/armature and find that it works fine, but there are always people that are excetions to the rule
