Mike-

Was kinking around the idea of running a little 1/12 scale this winter, what did you run in Vegas and what brand do you like and why.

Thanks....

Mike T.

We start a short season starting this Sunday, so things will start picking up.

See ya.

I run the CRC t-fource. The main reason is that it comes with everything you need out of the package for $225.00 I believe. That and I've raced with Frank (owner of CRC) for years and before he knew who I was he was always willing to help even if you weren't running his cars. Hands down he's the biggest 12th scale enthusiast in the world. He's one of the few people that constantly works on making 12th scales faster.

I've been contemplating going back to the CRC 3.2R carpet knife, but I've run a t-bar car for years... The t-bar seems easier to drive in most situations, but it seems to have a push in the car in high bite situations that the 3.2r doesn't. I like the carpet knife in stock, but not in mod... too hard to drive consistently for me at least.

In mod 12th I prefer the t-bar car its just much easier to drive.

Obviously try them both and see which one suits you. Can't go wrong either way, but CRC is definately the way to go for 12th.

Hey Mike-

Had our first race since Vegas, short season started yesterday. Took third, was closing on second would have a small bobble, start closing again, small bobble. Seemed like the theme in the main. Overall the f-brushes and the 3800 worked good.

Think I'm gonna pick up a 1/12 in the next few weeks, have to get a couple packs from ya for that.

See ya....
