Hey guys, we're back! Vegas was the bomb!!!
We all thought it was the best, most well run race ever. For anyone who missed it, make plans to be there next year.
The mains were awesome especially 12th mod, 12th stock and sedan mod.
For our first big event, Hyperform Racing did very well. Things can only get better from here.
We learned a ton and had some great results especially considering the level of talent that showed up from all over the planet.
Both the Hyperform 12 and fk05 Hyperform carpet conversion ran great. The 12th was especially dialed in the super high bite environment leaving us all confident and excited for the upcoming races this year.
The cells provided great power and our 19t motors were smoking!
Congrats to J-Rod for BQ in 19t sedan. Jarrod sat in the number 6 position in 19t until the final round where he was bumped out by less then one second. Check out who ran this class and you will see some heavy hitters beat out by J-Rod and our products. This is your year dude!!!
He also put our 12th scale and fk05 conversion in the B main in the very competitive 12th and stock sedan class. He accomplished all this with Hyperform cells, 19t motors along with the Hyperform 12 and fk05 Hyperform carpet conversion.
Also big congrats to Steve Boice for putting his 12th and sedan in the B main… Steve's Hyperform 12th was especially dialed. He had no experience with the car previously and was able to put his car on an A main pace until an unfortunate incident in the last qual put him in the B. His excuse was he's just not used to a car the carries so much corner speed.
Steve, we'll try and design a slower car next time!
Last but not least, congrats to Hyperform team driver Mark Smyka for qualifying 2nd in 19t sedan. He was a wheel all weekend long. We just have to work on your black jack skills... No hitting when the dealer is showing a bust card!!!
I even had Hara and Lemieux winning at the table and they never played before.
It was also great to meet and chat with some other manufacturers/companies. Nice talking to John Malin from Fusion along with Brad and Dan Johnson from Hurricane, Calandra Jr from CRC and Todd Putnam. Special thanks to Todd for helping us out and giving me some great tips on building stock motors. Want to teach me to build mods Todd?
Also congrats to all the winners and racers who attended this amazing event and thanks to Scotty and the entire crew for putting on a great show. See you all at the next one!
That's it for now and it's time for some much needed sleep. I will begin to answer emails and ship orders tomorrow.
