Yes it is a bit easier to tape especially if you run the batteries back. It is very easy to convert from any t-bar car as it was designed around the 12l4.
There are many subtle differences that make it unique which you can read about in more depth on our website. The most innovative of which is the recessed tbar lowering the CG and roll center. This helps the car stay nice and flat through the turns and rotates on rails. This along with the stiffer higher quality carbon fiber allows it to carry insane corner speed.
