Shhhh, that was a secret. It was a special order from Lino.
I had ordered it about 2 years ago when we were running oval down here, but since then it has been in my oval car collecting dust. Now I can use it till it goes out then I will get me a KD.

Did Hyperform-Racing phase out? I haven't seen any new news letters and activity on their website lately.

Default The New Hyperform Racing

No, we are not phased out but our business is in the midst of a major transition. Since I have contacted all the appropriate team members/dealers/distributors, I can give you all the scoop.

I decided to drop our tuned motor/matched battery line of products. It’s my goal to dedicate 100% of our resourses on our 12th scale kit and related products. This was a tuff decision that I reflected on for most of the past year. It will be a challenging transition for us but one that I am confident will be for the best.

Please be patient with me as I revamp the wesbite along with all the other behind the scenes activities required in a transition of this magnitude.

We hope that when you think of 12th scale car kits and products in the future, you think of Hyperform Racing.

Also, any team drivers who did not get an email, please contact me.

Default Sad news

I didn't know if it was appropriate for me to post this here or not, so here goes...

Lino Brosco of Hyperform Racing has passed away. I'm told that he died in his sleep between the evening of July 4th and the morning of July 5th. He said that he was going to bed to catch up on some sleep. Again, I have not been given any other details. A wake has been planned for Monday, and the funeral will be on Tuesday. I will post as I find out more.

Lino was well known in the hobby in the New England area, and by many nationally. He achieved a national championship in his tenure as the team manager and company owner. Many respected him as a great motor tuner and chassis engineer. He will be missed by many.

Truely a sad day for racing in the US, Lino was a major fixture in the racing seen here in New England and helped mosts of us along the way at some point.

Prayers go out to his family.
