Hey all..

Those whom had orders for Black Knight motors they will all be shipping tommorow am. We are finishing them today and getting them all set for shipping.

Please note: These DUO-3 Based Black Knight motors 0 Timming is now marked "0" and more a TRUE 0. For More timming, every 1/16 of a inch Counter clockwise is equal to 8*. We have pre-set motor's as needed before shipping. I Don't recommend more than 16* with Timming Profile speed controls.

What is the verdict on this Duo-3 motor? The duo 1 you guys had was awesome and its time to upgrade. Is the Duo-3 as good or better than your older Duo 1 Team eXpress motor???
Thanks

Hey guys, been a while. Hope everyone is good. Just curious if anyone was going to be in Dallas next weekend for the fall brawl. Should be a good time with some fast guys.

John, I sent you a PM I think your inbox is still eating my emails.

For those who haven't been to Mike's hobby shop in a while, they have done some things to greatly improve the carpet track.
1. The track is covered with a heavy duty plastic tarp each night to keep dust of it from the dirt track.
2. New drivers stand just for the carpet track
3. Shifted the track over about 10 feet. This keeps allot of foot traffic off the carpet.

There will be some really fast guys at this event.
I hope Team eXpress doesn't mind this post. They will have a local based sponsored driver at this event. Also, you better have one of their motors or you will get blown of the track.

Hey Team. I was able to test the new eXpress DUO3 this past week end. It seemed to have a broad "sweet spot" as far as gearing goes. I was able to run a slightly taller gear with less timing and the car still had tons of yang coming off the corner. I was able to win GT 17.5 and 1/12th scale 17.5.

Off road is next week. Should be around 30-40 trucks there this weekend!

What was your spur size and what was your rollout for 1/12th scale 17.5?

hey doug, I ran zero timing (zero on the can, so actual zero timing) and between 92-95mm roll out. I wants to be close to 95, but with the tall gears that we run, it is really hard to hit the exact roll out unless you run the exact tire and swapped spurs. during racing I was able to dip into the 10s, but there were a lot of people of different speeds on the track at the same time. in practice I saw a couple of 10.5s. just for comparison, i was running a 105mm roll with the duo2
