Well the way traction was last year at Vegas, Mimi's might be the place to practice...well except the rubber tires.

I'm actually heading for Russia to do some ice racing to get ready for the traction in Vegas... Its actually kinda cool in the way that there is a big race that doesn't have ungodly amounts of traction. Everybodies fighting for traction....instead of loosening all their screws or milling out top decks to lose traction It was definately a challenge trying to find a setup that worked....escpecially in rubber tire. Our track should be open in time to get ready for Vegas...its great to practice rubber tire.

Might have to pop up there for some practice.

Hey Kling, don't worry, the last time I setup a car and Tags raced it... he didn't do too well.

That's granted he had no practice with it.

But ya, if you come up at some point to play, I'll run stock rubber too. Gotta test the car out at some point to make sure it goes around on carpet with rubber tires.

And I'll be sure to call Pdub for you before Vegas to make sure they bring their whole stock pile of arms. If it's really the same layout as last year, YOU WILL break your car.

Ahh yes, practice in Beaver should be just perfect then wouldn't you say. Perhaps a few road trips for Mo-sami and yourself prior to Vegas could be expected of you.

I'm not too worried. I went to Cleveland and didnt break any parts at all. My car was really really good, I just drove like crap. I find that with carpet I overdrive the car too much. I think rubber tire should be similar to asphalt. We'll have to see. I have a couple of good starting points with the Mi3.

If you've got a tyre truer (i bet you yanks all do ), take the centre bead out and lightly rub the glaze of the tyre. Only go accross the tyre a few times with some fine wet & dry to get the glaze off. Has worked for me during the winter season and a lot of other drivers .

Charles
