Hey Mike, Looking foward to seeing you in person. Thank you for all you have done.

The Nats should be wild, Track is very flowing and HIGH bite. All the changes there have been great. See ya soon

Sounds good... is the track pretty flat or is it bumpy?
I can't make it up there till that thursday so with one day of practice I like to know as much as possible before I go.

Is the layout flowing like the snowbirds layout this year?
It's a bigger track than the birds too from the pics I've seen.
I can't wait... i'm running touring stock and 12th stock since they don't separate the pro's from the other 19 guys...

Thanks,

Michael

Now thats straight up Redneck! Though I have been known to put circa. 1995 Shumacher front pins on some Losi fronts with a rear buggy foam to get more steering into the corner on a dry track

Mike, the track design should be fairly flowing similar to the Birds this year. Size-wise it's a touch wider, and the driver stand is in the clouds. It'll take a little getting used to for most guys who are flying in for the first time.

Surface itself is smooth. There'll be a few ripples here and there, but nothing you'll really notice. Traction will be very high. Bite is high even when there aren't many cars on it--forget about it when a groove is worked in.

BTW, I just called George at the Chamber. It turns out he's having racing on Saturday as well, but it will start at 12:00PM (sounds like doors will be opening around 10:00AM or so). Whenever the race ends, he'll be closing the doors fairly soon after--so if the racing ends around 4:00PM, he'll close at 5:00ish.

Freddy and I are talking about going up on Friday night and staying over two days to get two days of racing in.

Yeah yeah. Looks like Getchell will be coming up on Saturday morning and staying overnight. We'll have a couple more days of devoted testing.

Mike , I will have your zapper at the track if you need to use it, 1 less thing for you to lug around. This track will be a big RPM track for sure
