Charging.. Tray before charging ( I use the Trinity DPD on Linar 5 amps to 0.70 per cell).. Charge at 6amps with .02 peak detect.. After running discharge down to 5.40 (0.90 per cell ..6 cell)unless not running for a few weeks than I would leave pack with 500 sec of charge in them.. Charge temps do vary but I have seen 150* upon charging..

Hope this helps....

150F on charging... Man that's crazy. Suprising that they don't vent all over the place. I'm quite impressed with how tough the new cells are now from IB.

Nah, they were slick before I put them on, lol. Three tanks on the starter box with it set so that at full throttle it just bogs along. After 3 tanks it was WFO, .

Idle, hell it won't even do that now, lol. Have to figure out why.

Schreff- From idle when I gig it full punch, it stalls for split second, then revs and goes. Too lean or rich on the bottom. It has good scream at top, and good temp, so it's not the high end??

Alright, school is in session...

The condition you are describing could be either too rich or too lean.

When you go WOT from a dead stop, what does it actually sound like?

If it sounds like someone is choking the motor, then it is too lean.

If it sounds like it is gurgling, then it is too rich.

Either way, you are adjusting the bottom end screw, not the top end.

That's lesson #33. Don't drink while tuning.

Tags, if he blows that motor up in under a gallon of fuel, he has talent.

Just wait until after 2 runs with the car when it is covered in dirt and grime. He won't want to clean it.

Got it figured out, lol. It was too rich and it wouldn't idle, now i leaned it out and she idles the whole tank out and doesn't bog off the bottom. I still think it needs more bottom end, but for a motor that was $109, you get what you pay for, haha.
