Yeah, so there I was reading my new issue of Xrc Cars (MAY) on the crapper when I noticed an embrace by 2 men on page 141. "wait a minute.....Thats Tag and Brandon!!!" The caption reads, "this photo doesnt need a caption to be disturbing". I felt so dirty.........

Well this past weekend I ran the Komoto Dragon and I fried it. It got soo hot during the main that it melted the armature winding glue. Then after the race as the motor cooled down, the glue cured and locked down the motor. I come to find out last night that I had geared it wrong!! I was running my TA05 and switched the center pulley to an after market one. So internal went from 2.25:1 to 2.0:1. So as I was looking at my gear chart (2.25 chart) I was trying to gear it for 6.23 final when it actually was 5.54!! Either way, it last 3 runs and Q'd and finished me 2nd place... hehe... Next time I'll know better!!! Great motor though. Can't wait to try it out with the right gearing...

'Sup, Mojo. Yeah, Tag told me you liked the motor but had issues with gearing.

Yeah, 5.5 is pretty different from 6.2.

Tag,

How did your new T2 chassis feel this past weekend? Did you come up with a starting set-up for me for Parkersburg, WV? 6* C-hubs? Springs? Anti-roll bars? Rear toe? Wheel base? Anyone else rollin' that chassis, feel free to throw your 2 cents in...as I'm . . From what I hear, those folks have been running RP30's there, and that's about all I know.
Thanks,
Dan

Sorry to hear you won't make it Schreff.

Well this past weekend I did get to run it but had a drive pin badly rubbing inside steering hub and only ran the car 2 runs..but past weeks set up is great starting point..

Sway bar front 1.3mm..white front springs 30 wt oil and 2 clicks open..rear 30wt oil green springs 2 clicks open..both front and rear outside arm 2 holes in on towers... Spool front..wheel base standard..1mm arm sweep front..4* hubs front in center roll blocks..rear top roll block front of arm and center rear arm for slight anti squat..5 1/2 mm ride height..1 1/2 front camber and rear.. Rear toe 1* total..I did add slight kick to car for this weekend coming..but above is what I ran 2 weeks ago and car was great and easy to drive.. This will get ya started.. I also ran CS32 or sorex 36 also

A 20oz steak is for toddlers.

If that's your way to try and convince me to go to this race, it's not working.
