That was nice!
Slicks on Clay = mod touring on carpet with Jumps.
It's crazy.
Here's a picture of my buggy from years ago...half way through the race I relize somethings very wrong with the car...looked at the shocks after and saw all 4 cartridges blown. yay losi. still won though

I'm just looking for something along the upper scale. My problem is I have 3 cars now and only 2 speed controls. Email me about yours. [email protected]

Jon,
I put together those Extreme stock 3800 packs and charged them at 7 amps with a cut off at .02 They came off at around 8.7v and 4200mah. they sat for about and hour and a half so I put them back on the charger to top them off. After about 1100mah, they were hot as hell and started to sizzle and pop. I guess they started to vent. What gives? This doesnt seem normal. Should I dead short them? Are these cells still good?? Thanks

Static - getting 1100 more MA in a pack after peaking at 4200mAH is not normal. You're peak cutoff is not right.
Once getting that much charge in a pack, you shouldn't be adding another 1100 mAH in there...maybe 200-300 mAH tops.
If your charger doesn't shut off after the cells top off at 140*, there's something wrong with your charger. Just pull the pack once the temp reaches 135*.

Thanks Jon, the batteries worked great. LOTS of power. I was even walking 19T cars down the strait!! had people saying, "who the hell is Mike Kling?"

Heck yeah, Mike. I guess the express power worked cause durring practice we were just as fast as some of those 19-turn guys.

Hey all we had our first night on carpet here in NC and what a night...Track was awsome and crowd was great. I can now say I finally have a FK05 thats flawless. Thanks to Jon for the shock job and to me for going back to a normal set up...
Racing was fun and tight as expected at Rosewood...Watching mod was cool..man that kid is fast ..we got a 14 year old kid thats gona be a major threat real soon wheeling mod and almost owned Brandon..
Oh yea..how about Paul L. knocking"Charely" right off his feet WFO down the front straight..Man that hurt..I bet he looks both ways next time...
Touring stock was intence...Anthony took his new car to the front in rounds 1 and 2 with me shaking behind him touching flappers..and Anthony setting TQ pace. Then round 3 came and Anthony and I ran 5 min within 3 tenths of eachother for 5 min with me taking TQ by tenths.. The A main rolls out..well we all get a clean start and for the first 5 laps all is well then we come in lappers and I run inside a lapper than get no respect going into the next turn from the lapper and Anthony sneaks by and went on to win..great run by him as form there on all I could do was maintain our gap and never close as our car were so close.
Jmac...great job on that layout..what a fun track to drive...
