You all stink. (That's supposed to be a yawn.)
Seriously, the Classic was a ton of fun. MAN, I don't think we ever had so many laughs at a big race! 'Climax Control' lube all over Tag's FK05 topdeck (thanks, Robbie)
Let's see: Danny and Robbie fighting over someone famous; someone famous fighting over Danny and Robbie; 'It's in Tag's can'; Tag's newfound HP in the main; Anthony, Tag and the entire 'D'. (Congrats go to Tim Stamper on not only surviving Tag in the 'D' but winning it too!)
It was also great to see some familiar faces again: Mike McBride, Heather Reilly, Old Man Hartman, Seaball/Fish/Chris Goetz (that's GETZ not GOATS), Chris Doseck. Dan, where's your drunk brother?
Competition was really, really tough. I think there was down to 'G' or 'H' main at the event in stock and possibly 'D' in 19T. We made our first mod 1/10 and 1/12 bigtime mains ever with our motors (soon to be released). As Tag already noted, in the end it was:
19T Touring A-main - Brandon Melton
19T Touring B-main - Jim Herrmann, Dan Hartman
19T Touring C-main - James Reilly (1st place!)
Stock Touring A-main - Dan Hartman
Stock Touring B-main - Jon Williams, Robbie Dodge, Jim Herrmann
Mod Touring A-main -
1/12 Touring A-main -
Also, congrats go out to Jason Schreffler for TQing and winning at Horsham R/C this weekend with our new eXtreme cells and motors. (You too, Big Larry for qualifying 2nd.
) Looks like racing at Horsham is continuing to build!
Oh yeah, I found out what grits were: disgusting. I also found out that Brandon doesn't dig Pretty Ricky, but does like "Achy Breaky Heart". Actually, Anthony told me that.
