Wow, what a night it was indeed! Had a blast up there. Track is grippy but yet is a fun, flowing layout. Ran a new 3800 and I just took off away from the rest of the pack for the mains. (I was car number 1 since the other two left) Somehow I managed to Tq the D main. since i missed the C main by almost a whole second b/c I tried to let someone pass me ruining my 18 lap run. That won't happen ever again for sure. All and all, track was a blast. Thanks Jon for some MAD rip in the main. Pack was flawless even though it was 1/2 to 3/4 of the way charged! Hope to see you all in a few weeks or perhaps maybe next weekend for sure!

Mains where a mess to be honest. About ten cars per main which is the normal thing to do. But the way he set them up to me seems unfair. We started on the back striaghtaway but that was the other side of the track before the loop. So that was for almost everybody a 30 sec lap right there. Other then that is was try and last 5 minutes with a ten car field. To me that seems easy, but then again I got a 10 second lead into the first couple seconds.

I didn't watch the other mains, but why does it matter where you start on the track?
The A was on of the best I've been involved in. Clean and way fast. If I wouldnt of stuffed it in the last turn trying to pass Schreff, all 3 of us would of been within about a second or 2. With JW not far from that.
I dont think 10 people is too many for that big of a track. 15 second laps is plenty for 10 people.
This is really the best track I've ever driven on. The bite is super high.

Fairtrace, I'm not hating or complaining but 30 seconds for your first lap, well that's almost two laps right there for me. Yeah, granted it doesn't matter b/c its the last race and this is where you stand and that is the pace you can run but still. Ten cars is not too much at all as well. Your gonna start with ten no matter what and finsh with whoever makes it. That's life. If you can run with ten, well you have a problem then. Now don't take this the wrong way or not, I mean this with good intentions and not to start some huge fight. I'm just trying to sort out what you said and questioned thats all.

Yo fellas,
Ya, Horsham was awesome once again. What a A Main that was. I'm still kicking myself for that stupid mistake with 40 to go.
Anyway, I gotta thank Mr. Williams for the new eXtreme 3800s. They were awesome stuff. The 3rd round of qualifying felt like a national event run. After that round was over, I had 6 seconds on the field ( Larry being 2nd ).
When main time came, I had to put new tires on the car. Lovely new 2 stage JACOs do like to come apart for some reason or another. Anyway, got a good start and had a good lead until traffic came. That allowed Jeff to catch me and we battled for 3 straight minutes. I think the lead changed hands 4 times in 2 minutes. It was awesome. Once I had the lead for the last shot, I just about a 4 tenth lead on Jeff and only had to stay clean to win. One stupid mistake and that was it. Oh well, there's always next week.
Due to some unfortunate family events, I will not be able to attend the Classic at the Gate. I wish everyone on the team the best of luck and bring home some hardware.
Thanks again,
Jason

Hey Guys,
I just wanted to make sure that anyone that has not signed up for the Halloween Classic at The Gate on October 28th,29th, and 30th and has intensions of racing in the event, know that they must get in contact with Chris Goetz a.s.a.p. to register for the event and arrange payment for entries. His e-mail address is [email protected]. Registration for the event will close at 12:00 midnight Monday,10/24. So if your not registered and you want to race in this great event get in touch with Chris NOW! I'd hate to see anyone get shut out of this race!
Thanks,
Jim
