Well, it remains to be seen whether or not Tag is coming up tomorrow. He 'claims' he's on his way up to visit his parents and in-laws in NJ. He's cried wolf so many times before and then is like, "BUSTED!" to me.

Tag should be in Fredneck by now. He will be racing at Fredneck Sat, not sure what he has planned after that.

If all goes well I will be at Frederick tommorrow. My car is all messed up after the last ORL2 race. I think I have it back to at least where it was before I left for the ORL race.

All you local guys, don't forget that Jackson is having a special night of racing today (Saturday) evening. I believe it starts around 7:00 PM, but you'll probably want to get there around 5:00 PM for some practice and to sign up.

See y'all there!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot:

Check out the website, everyone. There's a really trick picture of Larry Fairtrace on the front page. I'm going to be doing a picture of the month deal on the home page.

Also, we're updating the drivers' section. It's coming out really nicely.

1st Place Stock Truck and Stock Buggy at Enid R/C Speedway this weekend...

Bing bang boom!

Tag- Those brushes on the way?

Jon- I don't know if your plannin on this but it would be cool to make the drivers pictures and the car thumbnails clickable to open up into new windows for a larger picture. Just a though bro, site looks awesome as always!

TK - I'll mention it to Kumpol.

Well, this weekend was cool for eXpress. Mr. WYD/aka Brian Reigle took stock touring down at the Coliseum in Frederick. Way to go, bro! John Tag had second covered until he popped a shock end. (Can someone say, Fast Freddy? ) I believe Mike Herald, Jr. took 5th in 19T.

Up here at Jackson, we had a great night of racing under the lights. As always Greg and Al put on a great show. The track was groomed to perfection and the newly-painted 'barn' looked very sharp.

Racing was a blast. eXpress C2 and Epic 'M' power put me to the front in every round of both stock and 19T. I was able to secure TQ and track record in stock touring with a 24, 5:12 and in 19T with a 24, 5:02. 25 was on the way in 19T until I had a little skirmish with lap traffic in the 2nd qualifier. For the regional, we'll be going for 25!

Fast Freddy was also on hand with whooping-cough, so between fits of coughing and flem he was able to take the win in the B-main.

The track was really good, but not any better than I've been on in the evening in the past. I'd say it was on par with the eXpress PORC.

I've been working overtime the last month on my rides and just understanding the fundamentals of chassis dynamics (which has included a lot of reading and long conversations on the phone with Mr. James Reilly of IRL fame. ) and it's starting to really pay off for me.

As far as the ball end issues, yeah, there is a way to cure it. XRAY is suggesting that you pop on the shock ends backwards of what you see in the manual. It pinches the ball where it meets the set screw.

Truth be told, I've been running XRAYs for about nine months now and I have yet to have one pop off. Basically, you have to replace them occasionally and there should be no problem. That and just stay off the boards. You hit the boards, and stuff is going to break.
