Well as it turns out, i still havent quite figured out dirt yet, lol. Ended up 4th in stock truck today, although i can say those packs were DAILED jon! Crazy rip!

BTW update for nats tires...

With an t4 probably red ifmars or possibly fuzzie-t's, with two stages if you like and also losi silver directional fronts or proline edges if you want to steer more.

With the losi i would say similar, some guys like hole shots with every other row cut out, however there isnt enough sidebite, espically for an AE car, and I think most ran edge front tires to get the car to steer. A friend of mine ran ifmars all the way around and it wasnt too bad (in stock at least) ended up ahead of me, but then again he is a better driver...

And while the suggest list of tires is okay, good luck with x-2000's in 4wd, not gonna happen, lol.
Anyway just figured i would post an update...

Just wanted to say I had a good day today. I went to Durham to run stock touring and it was fun even with getting rained out after round 2. I love the track very cool to drive and man it makes ya slow down and wheel. I ran 1 practice pack and broke in round 1 but managed to sit in the middle of the A,man these guys run close all within a few seconds. No bad for first time there, I def had pleanty of HP just need to free the chassie up a tad. I played with the new F brushes today and really like them. I now just need to take a little more gear out. Anthony says I run a gear that makes him cry but not no more.

John- It was a fun day! I told ya the racing here is CLOSE. Sat. 5 of us were within .5 of each other. Today would have been closer had I not bobbled those last two laps and got to run the second, it wasn't bad with only two packs of practice.

Yeah you scared me with the Ratio you "WERE" running.....

2 Funny things happened to me on the way Home.... The sun came out, all the way home.

And I passed Jim Deiter and Paul Lemieux, Wonder where they had been?

Atleast I can say I passed Paul somewhere. LOL

Well it apears that I will be making along trip up to the Quebec Off-road Nationals this weekend coming I was planning on just racing 8th scale there, but I guess they will be running off-road electric now too So I will be attending that and I hope to do well up there. I think I'm going to be the lone Express guy up there???

Anyways, I had a rough day today racing. Everything that could have happened, happened to me today Oh well, I hope I got it all out of my system for the Quebec Nationals. Anways, I qualified 5th in Mod offroad truck and was up to second on the last lap, but got hacked by a lapped car and the marshal didnt see me. So I had to settle for 4th. Oh well just bad luck. In 8th scale, I qualified 3rd and finished 3rd. Was really hot out.

I had one of my good friends, Rob Say snapped a picture of me with my cars for you guys. Check it out

WOW!!! what a day of on-road racing at JRC we had like 40 entries

A and B main in both 19t and stock and an A Main in nitro

really close racing in both stock and 19t i know in stock 1-2 and were prob less then a sec. apart and then 3-8th about 4 sec separated the field

VERY NICE Turnout for an CLUB RACE

Tag, you supplied me the HP i did 22 like 5:13 in the first qual. fast lap of 13.3, but i blew my load and could not come close to that again got off to a good start too in the main, but crashed the car with no one near me and going down the tooth didnt help, always next week

like in idiot i went down a tooth and did me no good . . .I know I know

Freddy how did you and williams do in MD

hope to see everybody back again next week

later,
