I can come by Monday if need be, but that's about the only day I have free with the races being in town. Just give me a shout sometime over the weekend.

Brandon - I currenlty have a Keyence extreme v2004 that I have sitting on it's side next to the servo. Next to that I have my receiver that is layed down then the motor. I didn't want to use something that had a big unwieldy cap or schottky diodes. Space is tight in that car, so I shortened all my wires going to my receiver. My Xray has the GTX

BTW - I need to look for your asphalt setup for 19 turn

Rubber guys - How many runs do you think you get on a set of Takeoff 27's before they start loosing traction? Hopefully more than 3! I'm curious...

If you want practice to simulate racing conditions, 3 is all you will get in 19T or mod. Obviously you can run them more than that, but lap times will most likely fall off after the third, maybe even the second. This is my experience in June, but if the weather stays semi cool, who knows. In qualifying, you won't want to run a set more than twice unless it's stock class.

It really depends on what track. Stock or 19t, etc. Down at Fredrick it seems that the tires last a long time there 10, 20 runs. I was told Jackson is really rough on the tires. 19t is worse on them then stock there, I was told you almost need a new set every run at Jackson with 19t. I ran stock and ran a set for 2 races and they still seemed to be very good.

Wow, and people like these better than foams?!? lol...foams, atleast they keep the traction..they just wear faster. Better put tires in my budget for the express race in 19 turn and mod...lol

Yeah, John, I usually get two to three runs during club races in 19T before they're absolutely junk.

At large events like this past weekend, I was one-running them each time. I could get away with two runs, but the drop off is probably around a tenth. You can just feel the car push a smidge more on tires that have heated up and then have sat around for a while.

Question, how many set of tires is everyone going to bring to Jackson? Well at the least how many sets would you recommend bring for Stock and 19 Turn?

John, Rubber tires = no ride height changes, usually no wondering what tires to run. and really brings out the people who can setup their car. If you have a properly setup car Rubber is just as fast and wears fine. And I think its time that everyone here started running rubber so that way when they go to the outdoor Nationals and stuff they are not out to lunch. Just think about how many fast guys we have in the area, and when was the last title won that wasnt on carpet.....and you have three of the fastest stock touring guys in the country right here. Cuffs Shreff and Jon. And by no means do I mean to disrespect anyone.
