Thanks John, I will keep everyone updated real time while at the birds. I look forward to meeting some more of the express team and customers!

I hate that you can't make it John.

Team, Hope everyone got some racing in this past weekend. Weather down here in Georgia finally got warm for a couple of days. We had the first round of our Georgia Championship Series on Sat. at the new Henry County R/C Speedway. Awesome facility. Had an awesome time running Express-Motorsports Black Knight Motors and Batteries. I ran two classes on Saturday. SCT and 1/10th Buggy. In the SCT 17.5 Class I qualified 4th and finished in 2nd in the A. In buggy I only finished one qualifier and started last in the B-main. I won the B-main and bumped to the A-main where I ended up 7th.

Just ordered a couple motors, cannot wait to get them into the cars. We have one club member who has the 17.5 and he is the fastest 12th on the track. Great horsepower

If by spec you mean no speedo timing. I would max the timing in the motor and put it at a 4.2 to 4.6.

If you do have timing in the speedo I would run a 7.4 to 7.6 if this is a small tight track.

Thanks

Like Kevin said, NON Boost 4.2 and max motor timming is great place to start and adjust from there. Always make first run short 3 minutes and check temps.

Hope this helps

Thanks John, just proud I could put it in the A. Going to continue to work hard and get better. Moving back into 1/12 scale as well to add a new challenge. Next big race for me is going to be the February freeze in Dallas. Hope some of our guys can make it over. Following that is one of our local big races called the leighton Dillard memorial race. April 1-3. Hope to see everyone there!
