Well I have been running the 13.5 for a couple of weeks now and I am really pleased with it.

Thursday night racing at my local tracks and Express Motorsports took first and second place. I was able to hold off a good friend of mine for the win.

Not sure if it is OK to post gearing, but I figured I would post in case anyone is interested.

With an FDR of 4.76 my motor is coming off at 155F-160F on a medium sized flowing track and seems to have great power all the way through.

November 1,2008 RC Pro Series Off Road Regional Event:

Location Charlotte NC, Smaller than expected turn out but some great racing in every class. 3 rounds of IMFMAR heats. After the dust setteled today in stock truck Mike Huggy Bear troxler was sitting second on the grid looking for some Gold. At the tone 1 small mistake by Huggy Bear and after some great Laps Mike was able to reel down the leader and take control till the finish tone. Mike Troxler was able to ride home his Express Power truck to the RC Pro Series win enroute to also turning some impressive lap times.

Slash truck. What a battle between Express Driver John Tag and Max Amps driver Wesley Dennis. After 3 tight rounds Tag was able to secure a TQ spot 8 seconds in front of second on the grid. The main event was a barn burner. Tag got the jump at the tone with Max Amps Wesley Dennis second for the first few laps. Wesley mad a small bobble and allowed Express Driver John tag to fill a decent gap between the 2. after 5 minutes and 30 seconds Tag ran into some traffic and got bobbled allowing Wesley to take comand . That put Tag in chase mode. Talk about drama. Tag had to take full advantage of his Lipo Pro pack to enable a charge back to the front,Tag and Wesley went on a tear turning record laps trying to get that 1st place. At the tone Wesley and Tag shot accross the line less than 5 tenths seperated in a battle of all battles.Wesley took the win followed by Tag. Great racing by all.

Great run Wesley!!!

Art man great Job glad that product was able to be put to good use.

Well Beaule and myself just got back in from the Karl Mackie Sarnia Cancer Race... would just like to add it's a great event for a great cause and thanks for helping out with the sponsor prizes John. Classy move!

Anyways, Jeff and I set off 6am and made it to the track for 8:15. We got there setup, went out and practiced on the track and determined where we roughly thought would be a good rollout. We quickly got up to speed with only a couple hours of practice. In the first qualifier Jeff finished 3rd and I was 5th. My car wasent all that dandy as it had a push on power exiting a corner. I made a couple changes for the next round and ended up qualifying 4th overal and Jeff was 7th. For the main I was confident that I had the cars setup nailed for the main! From the start of the tone I quickly made a pass going to 3rd by the first turn and rode out 3rd place for a couple mins until 2nd place had some issues. I took over 2nd place while Wayne Vince had a bit of distance between me and himself. For the remainder of the race Brandon Showler and I were swapping back and forth and were like 4feet from each other the rest of the race! We touched a couple of times but never took each other out or anything it was really fun! I ended up taking 2nd overal and Jeff took 5th. It was probably one of the best races I ever driven, it had to be to fight off a charging Brandon. After the race was done I was so relieved. It took me a while to stop shaking lol Lots of ouus and awws with dead silence! The whole place was watching the main. There was over 30 12th scales at the event as well. I just wish my car and driving was was that good at the Gate LOL Oh well! I'll be ready for Fastcats! Here is the final results of the 12th scale A main.

1) Wayne Vince CRC GenX
2) Aaron Straus CEFX Evo2
3) Brandon Showler CEFX Phoenix
4) Jeff Showler CEFX Phoenix
5) Jeff Beaule CEFX Evo2
6) Kevin Morin BMI DB12R
7) Mark Graham CRC GenX
8) Lou Vanderway CRC GenX

Thanks for the power John. Jeff and I both had a lot of compliments on our power all day. I talked with some people and you will be getting an order or two in shortly!

Aaron

Great day of racing in Hawaii!!

I TQ'd and won T/A, qualified 5th and ended up 3rd in 1/12th, and qualified 2nd and finished 2nd in GT. One thing is for sure, my HP advantage is tapering off! Tag, I need new sticks - BAD!!

Check your PMs!
