Team Br00d Racing Motors

Rasmus.....I would try a 12x1 cobalt.....I think they run better on the smaller tracks....a grooved arm may work good....I don't like them on the rug though, I think they are more an outdoor motor..
CoryCraig, I PM you about it......the fantom dyno however is the worst dyno made in my opinion.....the guys at fantom don't even use the version consumers have, they have a custom unit that tests at 7 volts....I suggest running the motors before we worry about what a dyno sheet says....I never even use a dyno at big races.....always seems like a waste of time...
ImpulseRacer, I would use the same care process.....you may consider charging at 6.5 to get some extra voltage....still discharge to .9.....then before you charge, tray till the lights go out and charge....if yer gonna let them sit for more than 2 weeks, put about 1000 seconds in them before storing.....
Bazzer, the motors come ready to run.....you may try different springs on different tracks, as you may gain performance....we have to build the motors some what generic, as its tough to build them to work perfect every where....767 work great with the Atlas motors....can't help much with gearing.....maybe one of the other guys can help you....

what stock and 19t to choose
Hey Eddie, I am new to touring car, only raced once at a local club.
I am looking to buy new stock 27T and 19T motors for my HB cyclone.
I usually run on an indoor carpet track that is around 36 x 80 foot.
Which motor should I get?
Which brush and springs? I am completely new so ANY advice would be greatly apprecaited.
Thanks!!!!

will do

lookinco, I would go with the monster stock and the c2 19t.....both are very good motors and work well on smaller tracks....you will have no problems with them and they are easy to gear....for brushes and springs....buy some 4499 brushes and a selection of green, red, and purple springs (all overhead style).....
Fjm9898.....offroad isn't a runtime issue....the super mod stuff however gives a better curve in the begining....so, if you can pop the few extra bucks, then go for it.....

I did tested the motor between the munster and the evo O stock..
it seem to be the new evo got more watts at the top end compare the munster and everything else the same....
I think the new Evo O stock is the way to go

Are the Atlas EVO stock and 19t ROAR approved or been submitted for approval?
