This is my first time running a monster stock motor I usually run P2K2. Can someone tell me what I should gear a Team Br00d Monster stock at for stock sedan? Also for 12th scale are you guys running it as is? Changing the springs or making any modifications on the brushes? Thanks

Typically, I am in the range of 7.10 to 7.50 for most asphalt and carpet situations. But, it depends how much experience you have at carrying speed into, through and exiting the turns.
I have the exact same question to Br00d about using their Monster-based stock motor on carpet.

I can normally run a 7.8 final drive for carpet. Our track is small though, most of the guys here are running 8.0-8.3 final drive ratios.
For 1/12 just lighten up the springs. I'm pretty sure we put purple/red on it initailly, but I will usually run red/green on my 1/12 and start with full face brushes.

Got to say, proof is in the results:
2nd in the A-Main (highest for me ever) running a Team Br00d Monster stock.
And...I got taken out in the first corner and had to work all the back up to second...
Eddie:
Did you get my latest message about an additional motor order?

The website itself is done, just waiting on product photos and the online store. Eddie sent me all of the product so I'll be finishing the photos later this week.

way to go!
since I have started using br00d stocks at my track, other drivers ask me what I am running because they are so fast!
