I know I wont be taking quite as much stuff this time. Maybe if bailey doesnt empty out his home hobby shop into the back of my yukon we will be ok LOL. An easy way to make yourself run onroad is to only take a tc3, well and a only "1" spare chassis lol. Of course we could always strap Darrel to the top of the luggage rack. I will try to load a bit more rock into the ipod so I can please the ears of all passengers.

David what has Enid got figured out on the track? That thing has been so weird since they took out the old track. If they could get something that was consistant I know the KS guys would be much more interested in coming down. What tires are they using?

Thanks

Jeff

They stopped spraying the track so now it doesnt have that weird bite/slide thing. The track has built up a nice groove from all the rubber laid down. It feels just like your running on asphalt. The tires are a mix between Sorex 28s and 36s. All depends on what kinda feel you want.

Well if it is more like running on asphalt then I know I am in for the winter months. Been in On Road withdrawl for sure. I just could not get use to the stange bite that the track had. Slip and slide in one corner and traction roll in the next. Keep us informed!

Thanks

Jeff

Nope its a whole different track now. You dont have to be scared of opening it up now. My car hasnt been 100% just yet but I'm still working out tires and things. Once I get that figured out the car will be glued to the track.

STOCK

Monsters and a few CO27's

19TURN

C2's and KD's and 1 dude running an Atlas a few times.

The KD I ran Sunday is wicked fast for about 4 mins then it dropped off either a little or a lot depending on how I had it geared. I went 1 tooth down in the main and it ran consistant the whole 5 min. It needs about 2 or 3 less teeth than a C2 motor. This KD feels like its a 12 turn on the straight and never seems to run out of RPM's!! I love it but I need more time to get the brush and springs right. We had a 110 foot straight on the track Sunday with only 2 180 turns so the track was fast and flowing. Fast lap times were high 12's to high 13's. I ended up running a 6:33 in the main and it was really good.

Pook's car was quick, I promise

What little I ran my Zeus, I was very impressed. Strongest 19t I've ran so far. Geared right at 6.4, didn't notice it dropping off any. Maybe Pooky is running the wrong motors............
