So is there not a place to race sedans in OKC? I have raced at Competition RC a couple of times back in 2001. I am just now getting back in to racing. They have just opened up a carpet track here in Amarillo.

Comp is mainly oval. I have heard rumors there will be no sedan this year at Comp, which sucks. That track is only an hour drive one way. All the others are 2.5+. Amarillo huh, long drive for me, but Ive never been there to race. Got any links or information about the track?

The new track is named Double K Raceway. The guy that owns it has no idea what is going on. He has had new CRC carpet installed and has a lap counting system, but that is about it as far as catering to racers. He thinks all of his money is going to come from selling T Maxx's. He has hired a couple of new guys that are trying to get the place whipped into shape. They race on Friday nights at 7:30. They do not have a website, but there is a website for the Texas panhandle area racing. http://westtexasrc.com./

There is some information on the forums, but they seem to be mainly for quoting movie lines. Feel free to join in. It would be cool if you and David could drag that Dr. Pepper addict and the Yeti aka Bigfoot down to Amarillo. We will talk to you later.

Yeah, we ran sprints with Bean not too long ago. In the end he put a whoopin on us. Fridays will be hard for me to do without taking off a day, I work usually till 8pm most days. Keep us informed though, and maybe we can come over there some time.

Yes there is a place called RC Wheels and Props. They have a carpet track, but they only race on it on thursday nights. During the winter they should start racing on the weekends, but during the summer they concentrate on 1/8th scale offroad on saturday nights. I will try and post a link to their track later tonight
