Per ROAR rules a motor can only have a single cooling fan. Because of the space constraints within touring cars your best bet is to put the fan behind the motor (at the rear) and have it blowing on the motor.

Mike, maybe you can make a outdrive for the Kyosho gear diff for those who want to run it in the front with the Xray ECS. Probably a keyed two piece outdrive.

How many tooth is this diffs pulley? What car do u have it in? What is the part number?

Why do you think this is better than the spec-r or yokomo diffs?

Most racers with front gear diffs are running cvds. If you really want to run XRay ECS with a gear diff u should pick up a Spec-R diff for yokomo and then by the Spec-R diff outdrives for XRay. That combo is SO MUCH cheaper than any thing I could make.

Mira out drives and Geisha fans do it again. Congrats to Hanulec on putting on a good show in 17.5 this weekend at Jackson. Hanulec qualified 2nd and took 1st place honors. I qualified 4th and finished 3rd and goat qualified 5th and finished 5th. We all ran Mira's and Geisha's on our rides.

Stock racing requires two things --

#1 great corner speed -- Mira Outdrives for TOP Photon Spool allowing you to run the -best- available LCD/ECS, XRay ECS.

#2 big pinions/cool motors -- Geish Fans to keep everything cool when pushing big gear & timing

How are the Xray Outdrives (Nikita) coming along? Any estimate when these might be available?

My machine shop recently quoted a date of July 19. If the parts look good I will still want to make sure they perform reliably before they are available for sale. I suspect they will be publicly available the week of the 2011 ROAR On-Road Asphalt Nats at Jackson RC

Big thanks to Mike H for making these out drives and sourcing the Geisha fans. both those products helped me take down the the 17.5 Amain at the Jackson saturday night 17.5 nationals. I also got a little help from 2 guys who decided to blow out in front of me.

I just send another query to my machine shop, and it looks like I might have the Nikita Out Drives before the end of this week. If that is the case they will be 'tested' this Saturday. When I have more info I'll let everyone know here...
