Eric, i'm fixing to need another of your 21.5s for USGT. I'm thinking that I would benifit more from a high torque motor than a high RPM piece. From the #s you've seen between the KILL SHOT and the ORCA, which will be better for me ( 1450g+ )? Also, should I look to buy one of your 7000 packs instead of running the VTA packs I have now?

Most GT guys have been faster with the ORCAs from what I've seen and driven (others cars).

Also, the 7000 pack is solid! It'll definitely help in GT..... Cram as much mah in there as ya can!

Need some help on timing & rollout suggestions for the Orca tx 17.5 for 1/12 blinky. Track size is similar to Vegas

i'd try low timing but HUGE gear. 110mm+ rollout (vs a 98mm rollout w/ d3.5 17.5).

Gazza,

Just as Hanulec said I would try low timing (10-15 degrees) with a high rollout and then also try turning the timing way up (1-2mm past the 20 degree mark) and rollout around a 90mm. One may work better than the other for you depending on the track.

Default Welcome

I wanted to drop in real quick and throw a Welcome to Team EAM out there to Robbie Dodge. He has decided to come on board this year (and hopefully many more to come). Robbie brings a vast knowledge of racing and promoting product lines and has multiple National titles and constant A main results. Craig Xaiver and Robbie are both very good buddies and with them both running Xray cars, Team EAM Products and ORCA along with Arvin Nano and myself, this year should really help all of us get dialed in quicker at the track and figure stuff out when we get to the races.
