EA
has had problems with the supply train fron trinity in ther last month
But apparently there are some motors waiting for him when he gets back, which ones i don`t know

The lastest monster that EA has sent through with F-Lines have got vertical slots in also when he had 767`s in they were slotted verticaly & horizontaly, talk about hand tuning individuall motors some times it`s quite hard to keep up
But still they are fast

I got the trinity brush factory you can do laydowns, up rights
You cut a slot in the middle or just off, you can do vertical & horizontal
It has a outer ring with a thumb screw that raises & lowers in fine increments to where you cut the slot

Hey my Socal brotheren,

Yea it was at Gilroy, the rumor was I was using a 23 turn arm or something, pretty funny since i didnt even win, Tom V won and guess what motor he had, EA baby! I cant wait till next Friday, were doing tech and Im the tech, lol.

Yea racing every friday and they really want to race sunday's too. In march the rumor is there will be a big weekend race with spectrem(sp) being involved, we'll see.

Are you doing the Reedy Race or the socal circit thing this summer? I might go down down for that.

ya im gonna try to race the oc circuit series. it all depends on my motors *HINT* *HINT*

cant wait until EA gets back!

Does EA use the "f" brush in his stock motors that he sells?

sort of.....last club meeting i got booked into spec instead of stock by accident and i only had a crappy spec with me (hence me needing a new one) so i decided to run the stock and i put it in the A and i had a stock, the rest had specs

racing at BIWS next weekend with EA motor and it was very quick at the club meeting, better than my vega...so hopefully it should embarass some folk down at BIWS

Hey Colin,

run at very wet west london today, wet qualifing again!! was 6th in the A going into the last round of qualifing and picked up something on the line, into my motor and it locked up anway down to 3rd in the B, won both easily, shame that happened to my motor because for the finals it dryed out enough to run slicks and im sure i could have stayed in the A and had a good go. thier seems to be a problem with bits of metal from wire brush's used to clean the loop wire grove at west london as this is happening alot to lots of drivers at the moment!!

anyway, one day soon i will get a good A final run and show ya what i can do with these motors (hopefully at dms next weekend )

What wet tyres are you running, pits? Need a wet tyre to run at TORC, its open and they dont count towards the 2 sets a day limit so can take a few different sets probably. My entry forms are going off tomorrow

Well, tried my club monster with some speed juice today. I have F-Lines in it, new in for today. Now I ran the motor in, even gave it a skim for once

Anyway, I have to say, the juice seemed to give loads of power, but the motor did run rather hot... So hot I cooked a wind ekk, although i think before then the motor really flat, and the comm had started to burn.
And to top it all, the comm looked awful after the final, even though it was fully preped and bedded in, although only with a comm stick.



Oh and this is the blown wind... opps



Sufice to say, I don't think i'll run with juice at the next BIWS round...however I will try it again sometime soon, I guess I may need to experiement a little more with it.

Oh and I've just ordered a new lathe...fed up with the inconsistent result i get with my current one, guess I'll just sell it on cheap

Default Reedy Quad, F-Lines and 12th

i have been running 12th for 2 meetings and its going well, im using a reedy quad and F-line brushes (much better than the 766s i used on my first run, they are lasting longer too ).
atm i am running the tc reedy quad spring setup mr ea recomended earlier in this thread, but in 12th i guess a different approach to tension is needed, but i dont know what
the purple/red setup was fast enough to challenge a HPI driver using the twin mag reedy spec, but i guess it could be faster...
so has anyone any ideas of spring setup for 12th with reedy quad and F-lines
