EA motors 1st,2nd, not bad, not bad atall ,used the F-lines for 4 Q & 2 finals( 3 legged) went home early
what you want one of thoose FK's for.....
415 all the way

Out of interest i assume he was running a XXX-S, I had heard a rumour he that he prefers that to the JRXS.... just a rumour though.

Anyway, Can't wait to get to the next round of the BIWS, now i've got my new batts. No excuses now, I know the cars good, the motors are awesome (love the moster with F-lines) and the batts should be good too.... B-final(ly) here i come.. at least

First things first though, got some uni finals to get out of the way

I ran some F brushes in my EA Epics today and preped tham like Eric said to. I can't belive how great these brushes are. I had tons of rip and won the "B" by 2 laps. I even let a buddy of mine run one in the "A" and he was amazed with the motor and brushes. I'm a beliver in the F brush now.

I'm hearing that the Fline brushes are not well suited for lower voltage applications where green springs would be used such as 4 cell 1/12 scale. Can anyone tell me if this is true or not?

Fuzzy I read the same thing, and I have a hard time believing that. Eric has been running TC and mod oval in preparation for Snowbirds so he hasn't had time to do his own 12th scale motor tuning. I can't speak for Mo or the other guys up north but I bet they are working on tuning the brushes for 12th scale. I'm guessing your best bet right now for that info is Mo Denton. I would like to add that I have a VERY hard time believing the EA Motorsports F brush is poor in lower voltage racing. The key is that nobody has found or posted the tune for that situation. I'm going to step out on a limb here and say that a good brush is a good brush, it just needs a really good motor man to find find the sweet spot.

I've been running the F-brush in 4cell oval for EA. Won and set new record last 2 outings. They did not "feel" as fast but the laptimes were faster. Need to us Zubie drops during break in or scuff the face of the brush. This has worked great for me. You get lots of runs before the power falls of as well.

I havnet had any problems running the F brush in 4 cell motors....Seems to work just fine. I use the same setup in 4 cell as 6 cells.

Batteries will be on line for sale Thrusday night. Bad news is I will be leaving on Friday night for the snowbirds and wont be back till Tuesday Feb 15th. So NO orders will be shipped next week!!

On another note I will have the IB3600 cells the week after the snowbirds as well. Along with more GP cells.

Thanks

changed the gearing colin and it seems to rip now, thanks for the advice last week mate

Cool ultra bird setups?

What is the best brush/spring setup for the Ultra Bird? Run on
small tight carpet track. Thanks!
