What seems to be a good indicator that your BL motor bearings have gone bad besides falling apart?

A gritty feeling in the bearing is the first indicator I look at. You have to take the motor apart to tell though. Most bearings will make a whining noise when spun over fast if they are going bad.

They require a nut on them. non threaded.

I have just installed my VX3. The wire connecting the ESC and receiver, is it normal that it is quite loose? The esc end is very loose and I cannot push the connector all the way down like the power switch connector

It fits in the housing very tight. It will go in there. Make sure you have both connectors turned the correct direction as well. The openings on one side of the connector both go the same direction on both connectors. Its made to fit tight so they cant come out in a crash.

I think I installed it in correct direction coz the esc turned on no problem and I was able to calibrate it with my radio, I just use some force to push it in?
