It will work fine on all motors when you check timing plugged into a 12v power supply as they recommend. I didnt know this until just yesterday when they came back from vacation and answered some emails for me.

Ok, I will try a power supply at 9V, I had been using a battery.

Thank you much, you always have an answer

I just put a bunch of items up at a good sale price....So if there is anything you have been looking at you may go check now to see if its there.

I hope to have the RX3's and VX3's this week but no promises.

EA, where would you time/gear the Orca 17.5 motors that are going to be run in Amateur Touring at the IIC?

I have no clue. I got them today and have zero testing on them. So everyone will be figuring that out on their own at the race. I would start around where you would any other motor.

Any chance of slapping one on a timing analyzer so we at least know what the timing marks translate to in terms of real timing? Looking to compare to my current TX motors.

So the GForce motor testers are not updateable to the new firmware with more timing measurement and no need for a 9v power supply???

The only change will be more timing measurement. There is no way around the 9V requirement when checking 21.5 motors. They will all be that way. And they are trying to come up with a way to update but they say its unlikely.

Gotcha, that makes sense and works fine. I can just test motors at what they say is zero and see what that is as it will never be over 50. That's all I wanted anyway.

thanks
