It does feel different on the track...smoother is the best way to put it but Its not faster. You will know when someone is running them as they are quieter than anything youve ever heard.

interesting are they on your website? If I am running 96/51 64p now then what would be the 84 pitch equivalent?

To figure out the equivalent is easy.
84/64=1.3125 (this gives us the ratio between the two pitches)
96t 64p spur - 96x1.3125=126
51t 64p pinion - 51x1.3125=66.9375

Just remember gearing changes by one tooth either on the pinion or spur are much smaller using 84 pitch.

For 64pitch changing one tooth on the pinion gear changes the FDR by .0715
(96/51)x1.9(xray IR)=3.576 FDR
(96/50)x1.9=3.648 FDR

For 84pitch changing one tooth on the pinion gear changes the FDR by .0541
(126/67)x1.9(xray IR)=3.573 FDR
(126/66)x1.9=3.627 FDR

And yes they are on the website. I just ordered a bunch of stuff. Just wish I could have them before this weekend!

Here is an equivalency chart EA posted on Facebook.

The pinions only go up to 60 thought, so I would have to go to a much smaller spur say 95 ish to have room to up or down in pinions yes? With a 95 spur that puts me at a 50 pinon. 10 teeth to go up

also thank you for the information

I just ordered 124,126,128 spurs and 62,63,64,65 pinions for TC 17.5 blinky

I think 126 will be where I start but I want the adjustability of the other spur gears.

When are you expecting more of the Orca VXX titanium ESCs to come in? I'm in need of a new ESC and want to give one a try.

I havent been given a time frame as to when the D4 will even be released other than "its not close". If the D35 is allowed that is still the motor to run in my opinion. If its not allowed the ORCA is one of the best out there from what I have ran.

disregard this comment. was thrown off by the 84p talk. never felt the need for teeth smaller than 64p. interesting.

Jay,

I do have a few at home but cant remember which ones they are. I know I have some 12.3 medium rotors. I may have 12.5 Super High torque ones as well.
