The 12.5 high torque rotor is great for TC. I've been running one in my 17.5 ReVtech for the past 4 weeks, and I've had fast lap every race night (TQ 3 of the weeks). I wound up geared at a 3.76 FDR, timing between the last 2 notches running a Mamba ESC.

Awesome! Can't wait!

The 17.5 with the high torque rotor works well for offroad use as well. I know a lot of people are using it in 17.5 buggy with great success.

Motor design looks nice Eric. Hope to see some good results with this one. Can I get one in red?

Will I be able to transfer my 12.5mm HT rotor from the Revtech R to this motor (D3.5) or are the rotors slightly different?

Any info on how the new motor differs from the standard D3 and ReVtech?

HCW....Yes the previous rotors should fit without any issues at all.

JamesL. This motor was designed with a shorter stator that reduces the wire therefore lower resistance. It still meets the ROAR min though and has passed ROAR inspection. It should be on the ROAR approved list within 2 weeks now that they are out and being sold. Its also more open to help with cooling but the main advantage is the stator design. It is the fastest motor Ive ran in TC and 12th scale. I have not tried it in anything else.

Just wanted to post that I will NOT be getting the new motor Tuesday as I thought. It seems that someone to remain nameless did not want me to have the motors to see right now so my order was cancelled. So to those that preordered I would like to apologize for the inconvenience and hope that I falsely gave you. Luckily I dont have people pre-pay on orders so at least thats the easy part to handle!

Also on another note I am no longer in any way, shape or form associated with Trinity, Revtech or EPIC as of today.

Thanks

WOW!!! What's next for you, Eric? I'm sure that any power company will be more than ecstatic to have you representing their program. Good luck wherever your feet land.
